"Our driver didn't know how many passengers he had to pick up. When we booked the journey there was no mention of the £5 charge in the airport and we refused to pay as this was not in our contract. He was obviously cross about something before he arrived. He had a difficult job anyway as Our flight picked up extra passengers on the way home!!"

"Taxi did not arrive so I called. John Port travel told Taxi code they could not fulfill the booking. This message did not get through to me. John Port were great and got someone out and to the train station urgently. We managed to jump in the train by the skin of our teeth. Very stressful experience. Will not be using Taxicode again."

"Extremely over priced and very rude people at the taxi company appointed by the website. Won’t be recommending or using again. We made an error on the time we needed our taxi and realised straight away, absolute nightmare to change and was told we would loose 75% of the booking if we cancelled and rebooked straight away. We even rang twice to confirm our times had been change and paid an extra £18 as requested. Out bound taxi was fine and drive was lovely. Return taxi eventually turned up 45 mins late after a phone to ask where our taxi was to be spoken too very rudely. Replacement taxi arrived and the drive then asked for payment even though we had paid online, but asking for significantly less than what we had already paid online. Extremely disappointed 😔 "

"We weren’t dropped at departures as the driver didn’t want to go into the car park. We were dropped at an island which was then a 5 minute walk to departures. Not great when you have a bad back and the trip cost £50!"

"This taxi didn’t turn up and was very rude on the phone when I rang to enquire what the problem was. States the company isn’t in derby and had spoken to me on the phone previously to confirm this, this wasn’t true I had no contact with them on the phone. Was 30 minutes late for a wedding, absolutely disgraceful service and a few others at the wedding had complained aswell."

"Taxi waiting at destination point and not pick up point. Had to use own car instead and spend £14.50 on parking at Derby station!. Mix up the following day as part of trying to rectify matters - but, eventually, all sorted."

I got into another car that was going to the same hotel as me and the rest of my party managed to get into another car (which I think came from you). It was all very confusing as it was very dark and a lot of people were leaving at the same time. It would have have been more helpful had the driver come into the reception and asked for me."
